I have been the Marion Township Supervisor for over twenty years and now I'm running on the
Republican side of the ballot in the August 6th 2024 Primary Election to be a Marion Township Trustee.

This past Christmas season, the Township was closed for an extended time and in early February I
took a week off to go to Florida for my granddaughter's wedding.
It was like being retired and I liked it.

If I'm elected to a Trustee position, I will be able to apply much of what I learned as Supervisor
at the Township but still be able to spend a lot of time at home with my wife.

Being a Trustee will allow me to be a resource to the new Supervisor
on an as-needed basis (if needed/wanted).

Experience that will be useful includes:

Assessing
Planning and Zoning
Special Assessment creation and maintenance
Sewer and Water issues in the Township
Budgeting for General Fund, Sewer, Parks, Cemeteries, Special Assessments
City, Village, Township Revenue Sharing (CVTRS) reports
Marion Howell Oceola Genoa Sewer and Water Authority (MHOG)
Howell Area Fire Authority
Township Roads
Relationship and contracts with the City of Howell
Township Information Technology
Township Employee Handbook
Coordination with Livingston County Offices

Road Commission
Drain Commission
Planning Department
Treasurer
Equalization
Clerk
Register of Deeds
Health Department
Sheriff

So, I am asking for your vote in the August 6th 2024 Primary Election.
